The tailored search
Not every property we sell is published. Some are sold before they go online, to buyers whose criteria we already know. Give us yours and you hear first. Register my search.
What we check before we take you round
The state of the building and the works already voted by the co-owners, whether the asking price is consistent with the sales actually signed in the street, the mandatory surveys, and the tenancy position where there is one. We would rather tell you a property is not worth the journey than fill a diary with viewings.
Buying from abroad
Around a third of our sales are completed with an international buyer. We are used to working across time zones, with powers of attorney, with French and foreign lenders, and with notaries who draft in French. We will tell you plainly what a purchase costs in France: notary fees of roughly 7 to 8 per cent of the price on an existing property, and our own fees, always displayed before anything begins. Through to completion
Offer, preliminary contract, the ten day cooling-off period, the mortgage condition, then the deed of sale. One person follows your file from start to finish and tells you at each stage what is expected of you and by when.
